Public Liability Insurance

This covers your legal liability to pay damages in respect of accidental bodily injury to any person or accidental loss or damage to third party property, occurring in the course of your business. For example, putting your foot through the ceiling whilst in a client’s loft – easily done!

If you have an office policy you can arrange for the Public Liability cover to include work away. If not, you would be advised to consider a “stand alone” policy to cover this risk. It is likely that you would need to produce proof of this cover to some of your clients before you can go on site.
